French Car Australia is a fully independent website and not in any way funded or affiliated with any stakeholders in the French car space (either in Australia or internationally).

This includes vehicle & part manufacturers, importers,  wholesalers, distributors, sellers, and repairers; other automotive media platforms; as well as car clubs, car exhibitors, and car museums.

Any financial support received to prepare content, including  travel, accommodation or hospitality, is fully disclosed in the relevant article.

Editor & Publisher

French Car Australia is edited and published by Joseph Fonte, who has significant experience in the automotive world, including:

- Technician/Mechanical Engineer (RMIT) with the Ford Motor Company of Australia Pty Ltd, including preparing press launch/test vehicles; prototype development plus exposure to the non-Ford test fleet (including his first French car drive - a Renault 25).

- Policy Adviser in the Department of Transport and Federal Office of Road Safety

- Member Services Manager with the National Association of Road Freight Operators (NatRoad).

Advertising

Consistent with its full independence, French Car Australia only receives income from online advertising - currently via the Google AdSense platform.

This advertising will be continually monitored by the publisher to ensure that it is relevant and proportionate in terms of site content, and avoids categories such as gambling and political campaigns.

Any feedback on the extent and type of advertising is welcome, and will be communicated and adjusted, as necessary, with the relevant platform.

Scope

French Car Australia does not provide comprehensive details or technical advice on all the French branded vehicles currently or previously sold in (or imported to) Australia, including:

- specifications and pricing

- vehicle warranties

- sales data and resale values

- after-sales service and repairs

This information is readily available from other sources.

Such details will, however, be provided where relevant to a brand history or review of a particular single model.
